Re-vote on Dec 26!

The Supreme Court of Ukraine decided to partly satisfy the suit of the representatives of Viktor Yushchenko. 1. The actions of the Central Election Commission are recognized illegal. 2. The resolution Nov 24 decision of the Central Election Commission to recognize Yanukovych as the President is cancelled. 3. As it is impossible to determine the results of the real will of the citizens, the Court decided to hold the re-vote of the run-off election of the President of Ukraine in 3 weeks after Dec 5.

Supreme Court took a decision

Supreme Court took a decision to cancel the resolution of central election committee, to recognize second vote as if it didn't reflect the will of people and to set the re-vote according to law (during the 5/12 till 26/12).

Strike and picqueting continue

So far nothing have been changed since last week despite of so called "talks" between both sides the committee of national salvation declared the continue of strikes and picqueting.

Two TV news-editors left their position

One editor at the end of last week (Pihovshek, 1plus1.tv) and other one today (Kiselev, ictv) were removed from their position according to journalist's claims.

This two editor had a great influence on the content of news making them very subjective.

What's happening now

Mass-metting go on. Everybody wait for supreme court decision. Opposition issued an ultimatum to current presindent Kuchma with 1 day duration.

The most important regarding the peaceful settlement is the supremet court decision. If they cancel the second vote, the rest is only technic. If not - we'll be used to conitinue our meetings.
